REPORTING ENQUIRIES

Commission the right output before preparing the document.

A report request should identify why the information is needed, who will receive it and what work is expected to support it. Ghazi and Co assesses these requirements before accepting an assignment. We do not issue a professional conclusion simply because a template, deadline or verification code has been requested.

Send a reporting brief

Leave out passwords, recovery codes and unnecessary financial or identity documents.

Describe the purpose and recipient

Provide the entity, relevant period, intended users and any written recipient instructions. Explain whether the requirement concerns statement preparation, management information or another type of report. A request for audited information must be assessed as such and cannot be met by relabelling a preparation service. Appropriate professional authority and acceptance requirements apply.

Establish the available evidence

The assessment considers the records, previous reports and information required for the proposed work. We may request a limited sample before defining the scope. Missing records, external dependencies and necessary approvals can affect feasibility and timing. The proposal identifies responsibilities, fees, deliverables and exclusions rather than promising an outcome without review.

Agree issuance and permitted use

The accepted engagement defines how the report is approved, issued and delivered to authorised recipients. Where a verification record is provided, it confirms the approved issue details within its limits. It does not guarantee overseas recognition, lending approval or acceptance by a regulator. Revisions and additional recipients require the appropriate review and permission.

Common questions

Can you reproduce another firm's report format?

We can assess the stated requirement, but cannot copy another issuer's identity, opinion, signature or verification data. The output must accurately reflect the work actually performed.
