OPERATING RECORDS
Add capacity without losing ownership of the decisions.
An outsourced finance arrangement should clarify which work is performed externally and which responsibilities stay within the business. Ghazi and Co can coordinate an agreed combination of processing, reconciliations, schedules and reporting support. The scope, access and review arrangements are designed around your operating requirements rather than an assumed all-inclusive department.
Define the service boundary
We identify activities, entities, periods and reporting needs, along with the current team and systems. The proposal distinguishes recurring work from exceptional assignments. It also sets out what information your team supplies and who approves changes. Payment authority, commercial decisions and management judgements are not transferred by implication.
Establish an operating calendar
The agreed routine can cover collection, processing, review questions and reporting handovers. Exceptions are assigned to a responsible contact, with a clear record of pending decisions. Changes in transaction volume, entities or service needs are reviewed against the accepted scope. Response commitments are documented rather than assumed from a website description.
Maintain continuity and accountability
We agree access arrangements, working records and the handover needed if the service changes or ends. Your business should understand where its information is held and how the agreed outputs are received. Additional specialist work, assurance, filings or bespoke development is assessed separately. Outsourcing a task does not remove management's obligations.
Common questions
Can the service support rather than replace our finance staff?
Yes. A divided-responsibility model can work where preparation, review and escalation responsibilities are explicit and the handovers are maintained.
